Learning Centre Workshops

Group studyWorkshops focus on academic strategies you need to be successful in your courses and in learning online. They are led by Learning Centre instructors, English Language Learning Specialists, and peer tutors. English Language workshops provide practical information and tips for improving your English reading, writing, speaking, and listening in the Douglas College courses you’re taking.  The Tutor Tips! workshops feature panels of peer tutors sharing their own strategies.

*Please note that Learning Centre workshops are not recorded. If you are unable to attend the workshop but interested in learning more about the topic, please make a Consultation appointment with one of the tutors. You can also contact us in the Learning Centres, via chat or by email, and we can direct you to resources on the topic.
